Not sure if it's just me but it seems like dA is slowly diminishing in popularity. Especially where the BJD's are concerned. Because of this, I will probably allow my Premium to end and just stick with the basic page. It's no longer worth the money to keep this page going when the page hits are dwindling. I have already deleted a lot of my content and the separate folders. All of my work can now be found on the featured page only.

I've been a member of dA for many years and in the beginning it was a lot of fun getting to know other members. I rarely see many people from those days still on dA.

Just wanted to give you a heads-up as you will probably see my page change when my Core membership runs out.

Face-up commissions are currently on hold due to health issues. 2018 was a sucky year and I hope to be on the mend soon. Thank you for your patience. Took some much needed down time throughout the holidays. 

Will probably open commissions as we get closer to Spring and the weather improves. 

You'll probably notice some changes to my page. I've removed a ton of BJD photos and the reason for this is because lately many recast companies have been using my BJD photos for their eBay/Taobao sales. It's very discouraging that so many people do not respect the art of others and feel the need to steal photos instead of using ACTUAL photos of the fake dolls they're selling. They want buyers to think that the dolls they will be receiving are like the photos they are displaying and that isn't the case. Their doll will not have the high quality custom face-ups that myself and other known artists paint. 

This now forces me to have to use more larger watermarks on my photos. I will be re-submitting many that I have removed after I have time to re-watermark them. It's sad because it will diminish the quality of the photos. I'm now having to change my entire strategy when posting online, all because of the photo thieves. I came close to eliminating my dA account all together. I've removed all my photos from my Pinterest account. I believe these are the main two social media forums that photos are being taken from.

Please bear with me as I go through this process. Doll commissions are still open for the remainder of the year. SD size and larger, realistic sculpts only.

We have a wildfire burning here in Northern Arizona called the Goodwin Fire. It has consumed 21K acres so far and it's only at 1% containment. It's about 14 miles south of us and keeps growing. We're basically on alert and pre-evacuation hasn't been issued yet. We're already packing just in case. I will re-open commissions as soon as we know more about the future of our community.
