That wig is like the icing on the cake, it ties the whole look and face up in really nicely. Another great job and it's amazing how Asa can look so different in so many ways I have seen her done and each time I still am left standing to think...is that really the iplehouse Asa...incredible.
I want one of these girls so badly, I have to wait to unlock the Marketplace on DoA though as she's sold out and people have said they've seen a few of her there :/
She's only sold out on the Iplehouse site because the are revamping the EID bodies. They will be back. But I have seen some on DOA as well. I was lucky to have the wig in my wig stash as it did work out nicely for her. She can look very different as you say. I've painted two of them and would love to paint her again. Thanks for checking her out and for the feedback
I don't mind Iplehouse's default face-ups for the most part but I'm not fond of how they paint the lips. They are so understated. They create these wonderful mouths and then barely paint them or give them any contouring. Just a pet peeve, LOL. Hope you find her!!
I love painting the dolls so they look different from the others. I never understand why someone would pay to have a commission done and then have the doll painted so that it looks like the default face-up, LOL! I do love color. Most of my personal dolls are painted pretty bold. Thank you again. I'm glad there is someone else out there that appreciates it.
I totally agree with you on default faceup! The only case I could think of it's when the owner wants to restore damaged faceup. The sprirt of this hobby is customization so the more different styles exist - the better for the hobby. I will be waiting for more amazing faceups from you.
I guess it's just as well. I try keeping the social network to Facebook and dA. I wouldn't be able to keep up otherwise. I'm on Twitter now but I haven't quite gotten the gist of it. Does anybody actually read the tweets?
